Dr. Robin Schenck

Lead Coach / Executive Coach / Coaching Practice Lead 

Robin Schenck, PhD, MCC brings more than two decades of deep experience supporting leaders, teams, and organizations across K–12 and higher education. A former senior director of admission and later head of a high school, Robin understands firsthand the strategic, operational, and relational demands placed on today’s education leaders. She has coached and advised leaders across major universities, independent schools, medical centers, and education-focused nonprofits—helping them navigate complexity, lead change, strengthen culture, and accelerate their own growth. Robin’s approach is grounded in her background as a psychologist and her expertise in human behavior, neuroscience, and organizational functioning. She has worked with more than 250 leaders from over 150 organizations, including the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Wake Forest University, Duke University Medical Center, Washington University, Southern New Hampshire University, Wentworth Institute of Technology, and the ABC of NC Child Development Center. Her portfolio spans executive leadership coaching, high-potential development, new-leader transitions, and assessment for both selection and growth. As the primary point of contact and lead coach for Virginia Tech, Robin will serve as a trusted guide for leaders seeking individualized support. She will work directly with clients to understand their individual goals and assist in matching them with the right coach. This approach will ensure a seamless experience from initial inquiry through program completion. Whether an emerging leader exploring coaching for the first time or a seasoned executive aiming to elevate their impact, Robin will provide clear direction, thoughtful partnership, and consistent support throughout the engagement. With advanced credentials as a licensed psychologist and Master Certified Coach (ICF), Robin integrates research-based insights with real-world leadership demands. She is certified across a wide array of assessment tools, including MBTI®, WorkPlace Big Five Profile™, Hogan, and CCL’s full suite of 360 instruments. Rich is passionate about coaching and developing leaders, teams, and organizations to succeed in today’s highly dynamic environment. He brings a unique combination of senior leadership experience working inside Fortune 100 firms, global leadership consultancies, and top-ranked universities, where he advised, developed, and coached senior staff and key stakeholders. Rich held strategic roles at CCL as coaching practice leader, portfolio leader, executive coach, and senior faculty. Rich worked with CCL’s top clients while also conducting research and publishing on global leadership trends. Now, as an executive coach and leadership consultant, he has a special emphasis on higher education. Working closely with Dr. Robin Schenck, Rich provides coaching and leadership development for a wide range of university leaders across cabinet members, senior staff, academic units, operations, and healthcare. Rich brings extensive experience as a leader in executive education, EMBA programs, economic development, and public outreach. He also specializes in strengthening strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, industry leaders, and donors. With proven experience as a senior leader himself and advanced expertise in strategic leadership, change, and communications, he applies an innovative approach to coaching and developing leaders. Rich focuses on addressing his clients’ most pressing needs while bringing forth their unique talents. He is particularly excited about the opportunity to work with leaders across Virginia Tech University and to help further build upon their many successes.

Rosa Grunhaus Belzer, PhD PCC

Executive Coach

Rosa Grunhaus Belzer is a multilingual (Spanish, English, and Hebrew) executive coach and clinical psychologist with more than 35 years of experience developing leaders in academic, research, and global organizational environments. A former Coaching Talent Manager at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), she led and developed a network of 140+ coaches across North America and Latin America and coached leaders from academic health systems, research institutions, and international organizations. Rosa began her career in higher education, supervising psychologists in training and leading a successful clinical training program before transitioning into executive coaching. With expertise in behavioral science, adult development, and multicultural leadership, she helps academic and senior institutional leaders build self-awareness, shift mindsets, and drive meaningful and sustainable change.

Lize Booysen, DBA PCC

Executive Coach

Dr. Lize Booysen is an internationally recognized scholar-practitioner in the field of leadership, culture and diversity. She is a Clinical and Research Psychologist, Leadership Consultant, and an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PPC). With 37 years of experience in leadership and research, Lize has served thousands of leaders in corporate, government, education, and nonprofit settings. Prior to relocating to the USA in late 2008, Lize was full professor at the Graduate School of Business Leadership (SBL), University of South Africa, where she also held leadership roles. Lize has a longstanding adjunct affiliation with the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), where she worked on the 12 nation Leadership Across Differences (LAD) research project, as well as the multi-award-winning GLOBE 65-nations leadership research project, steered by Wharton Business School.

Kerry A. Bunker, PhD

Kerry Bunker is an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist and a seasoned leadership development professional/practitioner with more than three decades of experience as a senior executive coach, leadership team facilitator, organizational consultant, designer/director of large-scale organizational change leadership interventions, leadership scholar, author, and keynote speaker. He has more than 2,000 hours of executive coaching experience and has coached/trained thousands of executives in Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, small businesses, and education. His client list includes CEOs, Presidents, and Vice-Presidents from private and public sector organizations in the US, Europe, Canada, and Asia, as well as countless other middle to senior-level managers and executives in a wide variety of roles.

Maggie Dunn’s breadth of experience and her collaborative, empathic approach enable her to quickly understand the relevant organizational issues and leadership implications in her coaching engagements. Maggie has over 20 years of leadership experience in the technology and aerospace sectors of the Fortune 100 and has served in global talent development roles with responsibility for leadership development across the globe. She is a Master Certified Coach (MCC) and has provided executive coaching for hundreds of leaders from a wide range of industries including technology, healthcare, financial services, education, energy, automotive, retail, and public service. She also gets great fulfillment from providing executive coaching services for non-profit organizations.

Patrick Callahan is an accomplished executive coach, facilitator, and assessment expert with deep roots in higher education, psychology, and elite military environments. Before entering the coaching profession, he served as a faculty member and clinician with New York University, Cabrini Medical Center, and Bellevue Hospital Center, teaching and mentoring emerging professionals in psychology and leadership. He holds a PhD and MA in Clinical Psychology from NYU and a BA from Pomona College, graduating summa cum laude. Patrick maintains an active affiliation with the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), where he coaches senior executives globally and contributes to leadership development initiatives. His academic rigor, combined with extensive practical experience across sectors, enables him to bridge research-based insight with real-world leadership impact.

Jennifer Habig is an executive coach, consultant, and facilitator with deep expertise in leadership development across higher education and mission-driven institutions. A former Senior Faculty member and Vice President at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), she designed and delivered high-impact executive education programs and led large-scale coaching portfolios. LaToya Jordan provides business and professional development consultation, executive coaching, training, and workshops to business leaders, employees, faculty, and students, on topics relating to leadership, business theories and design, employee/team development, and overall human development. Mel Asbury is a seasoned executive coach and former senior HR executive with more than 30 years of experience developing leaders across higher education, science-driven organizations, and global enterprises. He has coached academic and research leaders and served as an associate consultant with Duke University and the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), designing and delivering executive education programs in the U.S. and internationally. Mel has also taught as an adjunct instructor at Purdue University and Southern University, bringing real-world human-capital and leadership expertise into academic learning environments.
